Scholarships

The Des Moines West Side Chamber is proud to offer 2 scholarships to the 3 Des Moines High Schools in our footprint, Roosevelt High School, Hoover High School, and North High School.

  • Des Moines West Side Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
  • Des Moines West Side Chamber of Commerce Scholarship, in partnership with the Polk County Board of Supervisors

Criteria for these scholarships:

  • Graduating high school senior currently enrolled at Hoover, Roosevelt, and North High Schools.
  • Planning to enroll in post secondary education (including community colleges, trade/technical programs, or 2 or 4 year colleges/universities) or to start a business in the upcoming academic year.
  • Exhibited effective leadership through roles in school, work, extracurricular activities, or community organizations.
  • Demonstrated positive impact in their school and/or community, shown through service, initiatives, or projects that benefit others.
  • Shows strong character and commitment to future goals.

Contribute to the scholarships

These scholarships are funded by donations and voluntary participation donations in our sport challenges.
